Every Saturday morning there’s an informal car show in the parking lot at the Mazda USA offices in Irvine, California. The event is organized but also organic.

The problem with old race car nostalgia is that nobody ever remembers the bad parts—the 6 volt electric systems (Porsche 356) or worse yet, Lucas electrics, clogged carburetor, or suspension better suited to a horse carriage than a car.
